Discussion Points

1. It was decided that the structure of all forthcoming meetings would be to deliberate on the individual focus areas of the Eco-housing assessment criteria to come up with specific recommendations for the DP. The group will evaluate each criteria and based on its applicability to the D C Rules, come up with suggestions for promotion at the city level.
2. Even though the Eco-housing criteria is applicable to the residential construction, the group will also include recommendations for commercial (malls, multiplexes, offices, IT parks) and institutional (educational, government, hospital) buildings.
3. In addition to the focus areas covered in the Eco-housing assessment criteria (site planning, environment architecture, waster and solid waste management, renewable energy, efficient lighting) the group will also include recommendations for related areas like roads.
4. It was proposed that at least one representative from each PCEF theme group should participate in the meetings of the PMC - DP Committee.
5. The group discussed measures under the ‘Site Planning’ category of Eco-housing. The table below includes preliminary assessment of criteria that can be included in the DP
